These are just a few of the names we know our Nigerian afrobeat wunderkind by. Since breaking out in 2011 with ‘Superstar’ (an absolute game changer), Wizkid has been at the forefront of Nigerian entertainment, but his recent jump into worldwide stardom has taken him to a whole other level. Since Wizkid's ascent his fashion has moved all the way up from a 2 to a 10. Wizkid has become a fashion ICON.
Here are a few reasons why we think Wizkid deserves ICON status:
1.HE IS NOT AFRAID OF A LITTLE BIT OF COLOUR
It takes guts to wear a completely orange ensemble accessorised by diamond chains, but hey, Wizkid pulls it off with ease.
2.HE NEVER BORES US
Even in black and white Wizkid’s outfits jump off the screen and into the hearts of every fashion lover. How is it possible that even in the humble monochrome the Starboy continues to serve looks with a fierceness that we only try to achieve? Don’t kill us o!
